The Tourist Visa is for short-term travelers with a genuine intention of visiting Vanuatu for tourism, leisure, or social purposes. This visa has a maximum stay of 120 days and cannot be extended.

📋 Visa Criteria

  • Be a genuine visitor with intent to depart within 120 days.
  • Not be a prohibited immigrant.
  • Not be a person prevented by the Minister from entering Vanuatu.
  • Pass a character test.
  • Be free from contagious diseases or mental conditions posing public health risk.
  • Provide security as required under the Immigration Act.
  • Possess sufficient funds for yourself and any dependents.
  • Hold a return ticket or proof of onward travel.
  • If under 18, have written consent from parents/legal guardians.
  • Not engage in commercial, employment, or business activities.
  • Exit Vanuatu before the 120-day visa validity expires.

🔄 Change of Status

The Tourist Visa does not permit a change to another visa status while in Vanuatu. Holders are strictly prohibited from engaging in any commercial, employment, or business activities.
